Visteon Names Tom Burke Vice President Of North America and Asia Manufacturing Operations

DEARBORN, Mich., Sept. 13 -- Visteon Corporation today announced that Tom Burke will succeed Frank Croskey as Vice President, North America and Asia Manufacturing Operations. Croskey will retire at the end of the year. Burke will report to Jim Orchard, President, North America and Asia Operations.

"Tom brings a wealth of talent and global experience to his new assignment," said Orchard. "I also want to thank Frank Croskey for his leadership and dedication over many years."

Burke formerly was Vice President, Europe and South America Manufacturing Operations. He will retain oversight responsibility for European Manufacturing Operations until his replacement is appointed. Burke will work together with Croskey in the remaining months of 2002 to ensure an orderly transition.

Burke joined Ford Motor Company in 1980. He held a number of engineering, manufacturing and management positions. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical and agricultural engineering from Purdue University.
