Kristen Polcari Advances to Senior Financial Reporting Post At Sequa

    NEW YORK--Sept. 13, 2002--Kristen Polcari has been named director of financial reporting for Sequa Corporation , a Fortune 1000 company with headquarters in New York City and administrative offices in Hackensack, New Jersey.
    Polcari, 28, has been with Sequa since 2000, when she joined the controller's department in New Jersey as manager of corporate accounting. She began her professional career in 1996 with the public accounting firm, Arthur Andersen LLP, and subsequently worked at CBS Corporation in a financial reporting capacity. Polcari is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She received a BBA in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in 1996.
