FORD SALES AND SERVICE KOREA OPENS NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART SHOWROOM IN SEOUL

SEOUL, South Korea, September 12, 2002 – Sunin Motors, an authorized dealer of Ford and Lincoln vehicles in Korea opened its new-state-of-the art Ford and Lincoln showroom in Daechi-Dong, Seoul.

Sunin Motors, which has represented the Ford and Lincoln brands in Korea since 1996, maintains a total of 6 showrooms and 6 service facilities in nationwide.

The new upscale downtown showroom is located in DaeChi-Dong, the vicinity of bustling business and residential area. It is renovated at a cost of 1 billion Korean won and aims to raise customer’s buying experience and Ford and Lincoln’s brand image to a higher level.

“This will be take-off opportunity for Ford and Lincoln to increase market share and offer interactive service experience to customers.” said, Young June Chang, President of Sunin Motors.

It is the first Ford and Lincoln showroom in Korea to have distinctive Ford and Lincoln display areas, separated signage and main gates designed in accordance with new Ford and Lincoln brand Retail guidelines.

The display will support current 5 Ford’s line-up Mondeo, Taurus, Escape, Explorer and Windstar as well as Lincoln’s 3 including LS, Towncar and Towncar LWB. In addition, outdoors display area is specially designed for customers to have closer look of vehicle from outside.

This new stylish, spacious showroom is provided with modern customer lounge, and it creates relaxed atmosphere customers can consult with qualified sales advisor. Also, quick service facility is co-located with showroom so that Ford and Lincoln customers can reach anytime when they have maintenance needs.

Sunin has launched several promotions – including a special commemorative model display - Ford New Mondeo with aero version package - to celebrate the showroom opening and its commitment to give the Ford brand a bolder profile in the market.
