SEMA's 2003 Spring Expo Enters Active Space Allocation Stage

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2002) - SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market
Association, has opened exhibitor space reservations for its 2003 SEMA
Spring Expo, which is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15,
at the Nashville (Tenn.) Convention Center.

SEMA has notified potential Spring Expo exhibitors that the show's space
agreement and exhibiting rules are online at www.SEMAspringexpo.com.
Exhibitors who reserve space now for the 2003 SEMA Spring Expo will
participate in the premium space assignment process. To be included in the
premium space assignment process, companies must return a completed Exhibit
Space Rental Agreement, along with a 50-percent deposit, by Monday, Oct. 21,
2002. Companies that submit their contracts and deposits after October 21
will be assigned space on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 2003 SEMA Spring Expo, which will incorporate both the TCAA Light-Truck
Accessory Expo and the PRO Restyling & Trim Expo, is a new regional show
execution for SEMA, according to Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of
marketing and sales. "Our SEMA Spring Expo will meld two of our key SEMA
market segments into one very positive and profitable synergistic show
experience. This is a beautiful win-win business combination for both
exhibitors and buyers in the newer vehicle marketplace," MacGillivray said.
"The TCAA and PRO leaderships have developed a weekend event filled not only
with exhibits and business, but also with educational opportunities, as well
as the networking and social opportunities that members of these two SEMA
councils want."

MacGillivray said the SEMA Spring Expo will move to different cities in the
future. "While our annual SEMA Show is anchored in Las Vegas, our SEMA
Spring Expo will move around, to attract local or nearby buyers who do not
travel to Vegas for the SEMA Show," he said. The 2004 SEMA Spring Expo will
be in Indianapolis.
