Daewoo Motor: To Resume Operations Wednesday

SEOUL -September 10,2002 Dow Jones reported that South Korea's Daewoo Motor Co. said it will reopen its three plants starting Wednesday as its key supplier Korea Delphi Automotive System Corp. agreed Tuesday to end its two-week supply halt.

Daewoo Motor has suspended the plants' operations since Aug. 28 after Korea Delphi and other suppliers stopped delivering parts to demand repayment of unpaid bills that have accrued since June.
