Delphi Enters Commercial Power Sliding Door Market

Delphi's power sliding door was an industry innovation for the automotive market and currently an industry standard for passenger van convenience. Applied to commercial vehicles, both passenger-side and the driver-side doors can be automatically opened and closed.

The power sliding door can be operated through an interior switch, a remote keyless entry device or by using a traditional handle. To help enhance safety during operation, the power sliding door includes an integrated obstacle detection feature. This feature causes the door to open if an obstacle is encountered while the door is closing.

The power operation enhances convenience and operation ease. The power sliding door's modular design saves assembly time and reduces handling costs. It also makes future service easier.
