Finatus, PPG Industries Partner to Offer Online Compliance Service

    PORTLAND, Ore.--Sept. 6, 2002--Finatus and PPG Industries' Automotive Refinish Division have partnered to launch Finatus' online environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance service to automotive collision customers.
    This additional service offering for the PPG Distribution Channel brings a cost-effective compliance solution to collision repair shops and automotive dealerships. Initially, the partnership introduces the online compliance service in Oregon and Texas, building on a pilot program involving PPG's Platinum Distributors. Finatus and PPG plan to address a nationwide audience in 2003 and 2004.

    In addition to launching the PPG marketing agreement, Finatus announced last week that it completed a second round of funding, securing an additional $2.4 million to develop the service to meet other states' requirements.
