Youngest Competitor in ReadyHosting.com 200
Due to Shelby Howard's (17) inability to compete because of Marlboro's presence at the track, 18-year-old Montgomery will be the youngest competitor in the ARCA RE/MAX field in this weekend's event.

"It's unfortunate that Shelby isn't able to compete this weekend," Montgomery said. "He's finished well in the last few races and we know he'd be here running if he could."

*Howard and Montgomery are 4th and 5th in the overall driver point's standings, respectively.

Team Runs Ford at Chicago
The #27 Montgomery Motorsports team usually runs their Chevy Monte Carlos. This weekend they will compete in a Ford Taurus. Montgomery ran the Taurus at Kentucky earlier this season.

"Unfortunately, we had an accident early on in the Ford at Kentucky and didn't get to see what it could really do, but we know it's a great car for these types of speedways," Montgomery said. "The car feels really good and we should have a great run."

#27 Qualifies 10th

Since yesterday was his first time around the 1.5-mile tri-oval, Montgomery was pleased with his top-10 starting position.

"I know we have a better car than 10th, but I'm still learning the track," Montgomery said. "A few more laps around here and I'll be set to go for the race."
