WHO: Acura is bringing the sultry sounds of Jewel, one of today's most 
     popular recording artists, to the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area for 
     an intimate evening of acoustic music.

WHAT: Through the "Acura Presents Jewel: An Acoustic Evening" concert, 
      the luxury automobile maker will present a special invitation-
      only event for an exclusive audience of lucky local Jewel fans.
      Together with Y100 (WHYI-FM) and the Miami Herald,
      Acura will give listeners the opportunity to win tickets to the 
      Jewel performance through a three week on-air, online and print 
      cross promotion, beginning on September 9th.

      Tickets will also be awarded via direct mail to select local 
      Acura owners who are invited to call a special 1-800 phone 
      number to receive a complementary "Acura Presents Jewel" concert 
      package. A designated number of tickets will be allocated among 
      six area dealers to pass along to their valued customers.

      At the concert, the audience will be invited to visit the Acura 
      vehicle display where they can explore the latest Acura line-up 
      in a relaxed environment.

     who also represent Acura's target consumers. This year Acura also 
     continued its ongoing support of American music by presenting the
     "Acura Presents Santana" and renewing its annual sponsorship of 
     the New Orleans Jazz Fest.
