- Event Bulletin - Specialty Subaru Mountain Trials Rally ================================================== October 4th - 5th Merritt, BC, Canada Round 5 of the Western Canadian Rally Championship Presented by Yokohama Tire Canada ================================================== Hosted by the West Coast Rally Association Performance rallying returns to Merritt again in October when the 5th Round of the Western Canadian Rally Championship rolls into town. The Mountain Trials Rally promises both competitors and spectators more of the incredible stage roads and warm hospitality experienced during the Pacific Forest Rally held in early June of this year. Come and check out some of the great new roads and try to master the stage that decided the outcome of the last rally! Organizers say that there are many route options available and any number of them could come together when the Canadian National Rally Championship comes to town next year. This event is presented by the Vancouver-based motorsport club, the West Coast Rally Association (WCRA). Currently the WCRA organizes several forms of rally competition throughout BC and the Mountain Trials Rally is the second performance rally event to be held in the Merritt area this year. ~~~~~~ Status: ~~~~~~ This event is sanctioned by the Canadian Association of Rallysport, (CARS). This event is part of the Western Canadian Rally Championship.
