 DETROIT, Sept 4 Reuters reported U.S. Volvo
sales of cars and light trucks in August 2002 versus the same
year-earlier month and for the year to date.

 Percent changes are based on the daily sales rate, and
reflect 28 selling days this month vs. 27 in the month last
year, and 206 this year to date vs. 205 last year to date.
