Porsche August Sales Up 8% in North America

FRANKFURT, Sept 4 Reuters reported that German carmaker porsche AG said on Wednesday its August north American sales rose eight percent on the year to 2,068 vehicles. The company said sales of its 911 model had reached a record in North America in August, up 40 percent on the year at 1,152 vehicles. Overall sales were up for the third straight month.
