Actuant Completes Acquisition of A.G. Kopp

    MILWAUKEE--Sept. 3, 2002--Actuant Corporation announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Heinrich Kopp A.G. ("Kopp") previously announced on July 23, 2002.
    Kopp is a leading provider of electrical products to the German do-it-yourself market and will be integrated with Actuant's existing Gardner Bender business. Kopp is headquartered near Frankfurt, Germany.
