Snap-On Tools to increase support of Star Racing team for the U.S. Nationals

Americus, Ga., August 28, 2002 - Team owner George Bryce today announced that 
long-time associate sponsor Snap-On Tools would be increasing their level of 
participation on the Star Racing Pro Stock Motorcycle for this weekend's U.S. 
Nationals in Indianapolis, Ind.  To acknowledge Snap-On's heightened level of 
support, defending NHRA and U.S. Nationals champion Angelle Savoie's Suzuki 
will display increased sponsor signage throughout the weekend.  

Today's announcement brings some much-needed relief to Bryce and the Star 
Racing crew as they continue their search for a new primary marketing 
partner. 

"Snap-On Tools has been a friend to both Star Racing and Angelle for many 
years, helping us in our endeavors both on and off the racetrack" stated 
Bryce.  "As today's announcement shows, our relationship with Snap-On goes 
well beyond that of a team and a sponsor.  They recognized that we are going 
through some tough times, and immediately stepped forward to help.  Our goal 
is to repay their friendship and support by taking them to the winner's 
circle at drag racing's biggest race!"
