Japan Big 5 Automaker July Production and Sales
TOKYO, Aug 27 Reuters reported that Japan's largest automaker, Toyota
Motor Corp, said on Tuesday its domestic vehicle output
rose 0.5 percent in July from a year earlier to 309,058 vehicles.
The gain followed a fall of 5.6 percent in June.
Second-ranked Honda Motor Co Ltd said earlier its
domestic production rose 4.0 percent in July to 122,148 units
after a fall of 3.2 percent the previous month.
Nissan Motor Co Ltd, Japan's third biggest
automaker, said its domestic production rose 13.4 percent to
130,902 units after a rise of 1.5 percent in June.
The following are figures for domestic output, domestic
sales, exports and overseas output of cars, trucks, buses and
minivehicles at Japan's five leading carmakers for July and for
the January-July period, with percentage changes from the year
before.
