RC And LaRocco Go 1-2 at Binghamton

Binghamton, NY, Sunday, August 25

Honda Racing's Ricky Carmichael was unstoppable in both 250cc motos and
easily won the overall victory with a 1-1 score. RC has dominated outdoor
in 2002, winning 11 straight overalls and 22 straight motos!


Amsoil / Dr. Martens / Journeys / Honda Racing's Mike LaRocco was solid all
day finishing the race in second place with a 2-2 score. LaRocco along with
Nathan Ramsey are campaigning CRF450R four-stroke motocross machines.


Red Rider Nathan Ramsey finished right behind LaRocco in moto one, but
crashed in moto two and had to play catch-up. Ramsey would eventually net
8th overall with a 3-15 score.


Honda Racing's Sebastien Tortelli had a rough luck in moto one finishing
35th. In moto two, Tortelli was able to muster up 7th for a 13th overall
finish.


Honda CRs filled seven out of the top ten finishing order in the 250cc
class.


In the 125cc division, Honda CR125R mounted Ernesto Fonseca raced to a 3rd
place overall finish with a score of 3-5 for the day. Amsoil / Dr. Martens
/ Journeys / Honda Racing riders Michael Byrne and Travis Preston finished
6th and 9th respectively, while teammate Chris Gosselaar placed 10th with a
13-11 score.
