Tiger Telematics, Inc. Announces the Appointment of New Management
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--Aug. 23, 2002--Tiger Telematics, Inc. (OTCBB:TIGR) today announced that it has made some key and strategic appointments to strengthen its existing management team, particularly at its London based Tiger Telematics, Ltd. subsidiary.Mr. Steve Carroll, MSc. (a master of science degree), formally Technical Director of Maxon Sewon Europe Ltd., has joined the company as Executive Director of Product Development for worldwide operations. Mr. Paul Weatherston, who brings to the company over 7 years expertise in data and telemetry business, will assist him in his role. Maxon Sewon Europe Ltd. also previously employed Mr. Paul Weatherston. The team is further supplemented by the appointment of Mr. Khalid Saiduddin MSc., a co-founder and former executive of Pilotfish Networks, AB, a part of Volvo Group, a Swedish based telematics provider to the industrial and marine sectors. Mr. Khalid Saiduddin will assume the role of Operations Officer for Tiger Telematics in London.
