Actuant Announces New Program Win - Chrysler PT Cruiser
MILWAUKEE--Aug. 22, 2002--Actuant Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a contract to produce the actuation system for the PT Cruiser convertible. EDSCHA Cabrio-Dach Systeme GmbH, the roof system supplier on this Chrysler platform, awarded the contract. Production is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2003 in Actuant's Glendale, Wisconsin automotive facility."This program represents a very important success for Actuant" commented Robert C. "We needed to pull together global resources from our Power-Packer business in both Europe and the U.S. to meet the accelerated timeframe for design and production of this program.
