AJ ANDERSON LEADS FIVE CROWN POINTS
Speedway, IN Over 140 Drivers have participated in this year's NAMARS
Indiana Five Crown Nationals so far with one race remaining at Lawrenceburg
Speedway this Saturday, August 24th. Of the 142 Sprint and MidgetCar
Drivers that posted points during the first four races, local hotshoe AJ
Anderson leads both the Sprint Car division and the overall point standings
over Tracy Hines and Jerry Coons, Jr., with Hines leading the MidgetCar
points chase. Over 899,000 internet listeners have tuned in to the "Racin'
with D.O." live broadcasts on RSBN.net of three of the four races. The
Lawrenceburg Event will be broadcast live as well, and should push the
numbers well over the one million mark.

Baumgartner is the Main Midget Man in Mansfield
MANSFIELD OH (8-17-02) Dave Baumgartner continued to pad his point lead in
the ARCA Auto Value Midget Series with a victory Saturday at Mansfield
Motorsports Speedway. It was his career fifth ARCA and sixth NAMARS
MidgetCar triumph.
Baumgartner, in his own Weld Wheels-Simpson-Autocraft Hawk, charged from the
eighth starting position into the lead on the fourth lap of the 30 lap main
event and never relinquished it.
Crawfordsville, Indiana driver Sondi Eden finished second in her B&R
Fire-Schloot Furniture Chevy.

RAIN POSTPONES LAWRENCEBURG TO AUGUST 24
Lawrenceburg, IN Mother Nature won round one of the NAMARS Indiana Five
Crown Nationals Wednesday night with just enough moisture late in the
afternoon to wash the Event prior to hot laps. Lawrenceburg Speedway
Officials have moved the Event to Saturday, August 24th. Rain checks and
pit passes will be honored on that, or any other date through the 2003
Lawrenceburg racing season. The best open wheel racers on the planet will
now move to Gas City Speedway this evening for round two.
