Budweiser Autosport 2002 Show Added Guest

Joining the already announced guests for tonight on the Budweiser Autosport 2002 Show will be one of the all time best drivers in all of open wheel racing.... 

Rodger Ward...  



One of the most articulate spokesmen of his time for the sport, he was also one of the most successful. His wins in Midget Cars are numerous as well his ability to drive road courses in both Midget Cars and Sports Cars.
In 1951 Rodger was the AAA Stock Car Champion. From  mid '58 till the middle '60's Rodger and A.J. Foyt were the kings of the Champ Cars.
When he came to the Speedway his record is outstanding. He made his first race in 1951. Beginning in '59 Rodger began an amazing run of success. With the win in 1959 he began a 6 year run with his worst finish a 4th in 1963.
In that time Rodger had 2 Indy 500 wins, 2 second place finishes, 1 third, and the 4th in '63.

Join us at McGilvery's Speedway for the Budweiser Autosport 2002 Show which begins broadcasts live beginning at 7:00 pm in Indianapolis on WKLU 101.9 FM.
The Autosport television show air on Thursday evenings at 5:30 pm in Indianapolis on WDNI I65 TV. You can watch the show on over the air channel 65, Time/Warner Cable channel 20, and Comcast Cable channel 99.
