Convergence of Automotive and Commercial Electrical Power Systems

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Aug. 19 -- The automotive industry and other commercial electrical power system industries will be impacted by fuel cell technology over the next several years. Convergence of Automotive and Commercial Electrical Power Systems is a can't-miss session that will take place at the Electrical Manufacturing & Coil Winding (EMCW) Expo 2002 conference. -- Convergence of Commercial Electrical Power and Automotive Electric Power to a Common Platform covering how the automobile could become a mobile electric power system used for transportation, home and business.

-- Steps Required for Practical Stationary and Mobile Fuel Cell Applications, which will address elementary and practical steps necessary to implement fuel cell powered stationary and vehicular power systems.

-- Challenges Beyond the Fuel Cell in the Fuel Cell Economy addressing the challenges that could influence the rate at which fuel cell systems become the technology of choice for powering transportation systems.

The conference will also include two additional sessions on Fuel Cell technology. Fuel Cell Applications on Tuesday, October 15, including a presentation by Anthony Androsky, Deputy Executive Director of the U.S. Fuel Cell Council, and Fuel Cell Power Plants - An Emerging at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16. This session will include a presentation on Challenges for OEM Suppliers of Electrical Components. These sessions are also open to conference attendees of the Appliance Design & Technology Expo.

The EMCW Expo will be held October 15-17, 2002, at the Cincinnati Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
