It's Not Just Another Day at the Races With Sunoco

NORWALK, Ohio, Aug. 19 -- As race fans flock to Norwalk, Ohio for the annual World Nationals race, they'll be able to look forward to more than a day at the track. Race car drivers Doug Blevins and Mark Buchanan are scheduled to make appearances at two Ohio-based Sunoco stations as a part of the current Sunoco and International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) promotion.

Blevins will be available to sign autographs and greet fans at the Commodore Perry Plaza Sunoco on Tuesday, August 20, 2002, from 12-5 p.m. The Commodore Perry Plaza is located on the Ohio Turnpike at mile marker 100. Buchanan will appear at the Friendship Sunoco location on Wednesday, August 21, 2002, from 1-5 p.m. The Friendship station is located in Sandusky, Ohio, at the juncture of Routes 2 and 101.

IHRA fans can also enjoy a family day at the races with Sunoco's Family Fun Day Coupon, now available at participating Sunoco locations. Each coupon admits parents and their children (under 21) for an exciting day of race- thrilling fun at Norwalk Raceway Park, on August 25, 2002, for only $25 per family.
