AVID DESIGN AND DARKHORSE AUTOSPORT AGREE TO MEDIA PARTNERSHIP

AVID DESIGN AND DARKHORSE AUTOSPORT AGREE TO MEDIA PARTNERSHIP

-FOR IMMIEDAITE RELEASE-

ATLANTA, Monday, August 19, 2002 – AVID Design, Inc., of Norcross, Georgia,
and Darkhorse Autosport of Monroe, Georgia, have announced a partnership
that will see the two industry leaders join in the development of CD-ROM
press kits for use in professional motorsports. The auto racing version of
AVID Design’s extremely popular I-KIT (Interactive Press Kit) will be the
basis for all of Darkhorse Autosport’s CD-ROM motorsports media kits from
this day forward. The announcement follows the very successful launch of an
I-KIT for Darkhorse client Shane Lewis at the recent NASCAR Winston Cup race
at Watkins Glen (NY) International.

AVID Design, Inc. is a creative firm, specializing in custom interactive
multimedia presentations for CD-ROM and the Web. The I-KIT is AVID Design’s
solution to creating electronic media kits in a cost-effective,
easy-to-construct manner. Previous and current clients have ranged from
Fortune 500 companies to Atlanta-area firms.

Darkhorse Autosport is the parent company of Darkhorse Communications, a
motorsports media relations firm. Darkhorse has been representing clients in
the Indy Racing League (IRL), NASCAR Winston Cup, the American Le Mans
Series (ALMS), the Grand American Road Racing Series (Grand-Am), United
States Auto Club (USAC) and many other forms of the sport since 1997. The
current client list includes open wheel star Jimmy Kite, sports car racing
standout and Winston Cup rookie Shane Lewis and female drivers Terri
Popielarz and Belinda Endress as well as ThunderValleyRacing.com and others.

AVID Design founder and CEO Tom Brand is very excited about the relationship
with Darkhorse and the subsequent move into the fastest growing sport in the
United States. “With our proven track record of success in other industries,
we’re hoping NASCAR teams and the whole motorsports’ arena will accept our
I-KIT product as a valuable and impressive tool for delivering information
in comparison to a standard print media kit.”

Dean Richardson, vice-president of business development for AVID Design,
anticipates strong long-term benefits from the partnership. “With a personal
interest in auto racing, I’ve always felt our Interactive Press Kit would be
a great fit for teams to get information out in a cost-effective manner, so,
to me, entering into this relationship is a critical first step in allowing
AVID Design to reach this market.”

“We at Darkhorse have long tried to create new and better means for the
media to cover our clients,” said Darkhorse Autosport founder and president
Tom Moore. “We were among the first motorsports’ media relations firms to
utilize a CD-ROM format for media kits. However, we had not found the look
and user friendliness that we desired. Since our first meeting with AVID
Design, we knew we had a partner with the same goals. The product that we
combined to create for Shane Lewis in his NASCAR Winston Cup Series debut
was met with extremely positive feedback. It is always our goal at Darkhorse
Autosport to raise the bar of media relations and, without a doubt, we have
moved that bar up several notches in our relationship with AVID Design.”
