Infiniti Systems Selected by Ford for CAFM System, Announce Business Relationship

CLEVELAND--Aug. 19, 2002--Infiniti Systems Group (ISG), a technology and business consulting company, announced today that Ford Land, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, has reached an agreement to utilize a Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system in its facilities.
The system will allow Ford Land to more efficiently track utilization and occupancy throughout its 18 million square feet of office space, providing higher customer satisfaction and cost-saving opportunities.
"The benefits to Ford through the use of the CAFM system," stated John Bianco, Sr., President of ISG, "demonstrates only one of a multitude of opportunities that Infiniti provides to its customers. Our goal is to provide real customer value in both increased production and revenue or reduction in operational costs and increased efficiencies."
Ford Land Chairman Sean McCourt said, "Since the system's launch in January, we have been pleased with the efficiencies that the CAFM system has provided in tracking occupancy levels in our facilities and look forward to being able to respond to our customers needs for space solutions in a more timely and efficient manner."
In addition to continuing its present business relationship with ISG, Ford has taken an undisclosed equity position in the company, as part of Ford's Value Participation program.
"When a company as prestigious as Ford takes an interest in your firm, that's a sign your business model is working," Bianco said.
