Susan Hudson Promoted to Delco Remy Corporate Purchasing Director

ANDERSON, Ind., Aug. 15 -- Delco Remy America, Inc., announces the promotion of Susan Hudson to the position of Corporate Director of Purchasing. Reporting to Delco Remy America President, Richard L. Stanley, Hudson will serve on the DRA Strategy Board and will oversee all purchasing activities for Delco Remy's global OEM operations.

"Additionally, she will also lead the effort to define global purchasing initiatives and develop the international purchasing process and structure to optimize the synergies between OEM and aftermarket/remanufacturing purchasing," said Stanley.

Hudson joined DRA in 1998, most recently serving as Director of Purchasing where she held overall responsibility for the department, including direct and indirect material procurement.

Prior to DRA, Hudson was a Purchasing Manager for White Industries in Indianapolis, Indiana. Additionally, she has held related purchasing and material positions at ABB Process Controls in Columbus, Ohio, Motorola Secure Telecommunications in Seguin, Texas and Harris Semiconductor in Melbourne, Florida.

Hudson earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Supervision from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
