BELINDA ENDRESS TO RACE AUDI AT VIR

NEWBURY PARK, Calif., August 14, 2002 — Belinda Endress announced today that
she has been signed to drive the # 31 Audi Quattro for ‘The Race Team’ when
the Grand-Am Cup Street Stock Series returns to Virginia International
Raceway (VIR) on September 1. This will be the Newbury Park,
California-residents first race with ‘The Race Team’ but not the first in
Grand-Am Cup. The multi-time champion in several different race series has
run two previous races in the Grand-Am Cup this season at California
Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway with eighth and 12th place
finishes respectively. The former Women’s Global GT Series (WGGTS) stand-out
will co-drive with team regular Raff McDougall.

“Xtreme Island Designs and owner/ co-driver Raff McDougall have been great
in getting me this ride in the Audi Quattro, for the VIR Grand-Am Cup race,”
remarked Endress enthusiastically from her California office. “We have had a
good start to my Grand-Am Cup career and I think this is another great step
forward. This team is proven and the car is proven. The car is competitive
in its class and that is what it's all about.”

Endress will be driving the all-wheel drive Audi for the first time at VIR
when practice begins on August 30. The initial test laps will also mark her
first foray onto the Alton, Virginia race track. The challenge of the two
new experiences is an enticement to Endress. “Everyone keeps telling me how
fun the course is in Virginia, so I'm especially excited about learning a
new track, and a new car for that matter. “

Xtreme Island Designs (XID) of Honolulu will be the primary sponsor of the
former stuntwoman’s Audi. XID is a maker of high-energy island-oriented
apparel that is sold throughout the United States. A strong supporter of
Endress’ career for a number of years, XID is excited to be involved with
her move into the highly competitive and professional Grand-Am Cup Street
Stock Series.

Endress owns and operates SK Productions, a sports video company. Prior to
racing cars she was heavily involved in horse racing, working as an
assistant trainer and exercise rider. Currently, outside of her daily work
routine and racing, she acts as a safety and high performance-driving
instructor in southern California.
