Technical Ventures Inc. Announces Molding Trials of New High Temperature Cross-linked Foam Completed
TORONTO, Aug. 14 Technical Ventures Inc. announces that the molding trials of its new High Temperature Cross-linked Foam have been successfully completed. The new products performed very well when run in production equipment. Once all the physical properties have been completed and the patent position assured these new products will be released to the market with the greatest emphasis on automotive and rapid transport applications for the long term.
The Company also announces that it has purchased a molding machine to assist with development and quality control. This in-house molding capacity will enable the molding of parts for potential customers in colors and designs of their choice. It is viewed that customers must perceive the long-term commitment, which Technical Ventures Inc. has made to the new resin compounds.
The potential market for these products is extremely large and diverse. Ranging from medical, recreational, toys, safety, marine and of course rapid transport. The products will not absorb moisture, will not support mould growth and are environmentally friendly. These attributes make the orthotic market a major target for the resin compound.
The high temperature product opens up new markets, which could not be supplied due to insufficient heat stability in the finished product. The new high temperature products provide a heat stability window to meet the industry needs.
TVI's new product line will mold in high-speed production equipment, thereby reducing unit labor costs, and provide finished parts in many dimensions.
