ROAD ATLANTA BECOMES DOUBLEHEADER


ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. (August 13, 2002)—The Formula Ford 2000 Zetec
Championship today announced a modification to the 2002 schedule. Added to
the schedule is an additional race at Road Atlanta, in conjunction with the
petit Le Mans.

Originally scheduled as a single race event, the Petit Le Mans race weekend
will now feature two races, Thursday, October 10 and Friday, October 11.
Racing in support of the American Le Mans 10-hour race, Rounds 11 and 12 of
the 2002 Zetec Championship will be 20-laps of the 2.5-mile road course.

With the addition of a race at the Road Atlanta event, the 2002 Zetec
Championship will now consist of 14 rounds, with the final two rounds being
contested at Virginia International Raceway, October 26-27. A driver’s 12
best results will now count towards the championship.

The Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship will conduct a two-day test at
2.5-mile Road Atlanta road course, September 23-24, 2002.
