12:34 PM – Cars given the five-minute mark to the commencement of the
thirty-minute qualifying session for Saturday’s Round Nine race.
12:37 PM – No. 6 McDonough is expected to make the session after changing
engines.
12:38 PM – No. 2 Jones changed the fuel just prior to the session.
12:38 PM – GREEN, cars roll out pit lane to start qualifying.
12:39 PM – In morning practice No. 3 Sellers was quickest with a time of
1:22.853.
12:41 PM – Second through 14th all posted times with one second of one
another.
12:42 PM – No. 37 Dona spins in the carousel and continues.
12:43 PM – No. 8 Clarke spins in turn five and continues.
12:43 PM – No. 9 Kasemets reported to be spraying fluids.
12:43 PM – Current top-five is No. 3, No. 85 Irving, No. 4 Fonferko, No. 5
Imery and No. 34 McIntosh.
12:46 PM – Several cars have pulled into the pits to make minor changes.
12:46 PM – No. 9 being shown black flag for pitlane speed violation.
12:49 PM – Top-five is now No. 3, No. 4, No. 85, No. 19 Urlin and No. 86
Brumbaugh.
12:49 PM – No. 32 Aschenbach has gone off course, touched the wall becoming
stuck in the gravel trap in turn 11.
12:51 PM – No. 2 Jones post a new fast lap of 1:22.
12:52 PM – BLACK, to retrieve No. 32.
12:53 PM – No. 11 Rubenzer has gone off course and damaged the nose.
12:55 PM – No. 62 Sakowicz is the fastest ACC car.
12:56 PM – Field given one-minute to green.
12:57 PM – No. 32 given three-minute penalty for causing the full-course
caution.

1:02 PM – A lot of cars are running in a pack late in the session.
1:03 PM – The top-five remains unchanged.
1:04 PM – No. 3 is now quickest with a lap 1:22.7.
1:04 PM – The lap of 1:22.7 betters the qualifying lap record set in July.
1:07 PM – No. 3 being shown the black flag for pitlane speed violation.
1:08 PM – CHECKERED
1:09 PM – No. 3 Sellers captures the pole position with a new lap record of
1:22.702. No. 2 Jones, No. 4 Fonferko, No. 19 Urlin and No. 85 Irving
complete the top-five. No. 62 Sakowicz is the quickest ACC car.
