GM Schedules Conference Call Of Meeting With Automotive Securities Analysts

DETROIT - General Motors will host a live telephone conference call associated with its invitation-only annual ride-and-drive activity with institutional investors and automotive securities analysts Thursday, August 8, 2002.

Following are estimated times for the presentations. For logistical reasons, certain portions of the meeting will not be available on the conference call. As this will be a live event, actual times may vary from these estimates. All times are eastern daylight.
