DENSO International America Selects Future Three for E-Commerce Initiative

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Aug. 6 -- Future Three Software, Inc. a leading provider of Supply Chain Management solutions for the automotive industry, today announced that DENSO International America has selected Future Three's suite of Supply Chain Management (SCM) software to enhance trading partner visibility and to extend their ERP investment in the automotive vertical.

DENSO will be deploying the Future Three solution to address key areas in demand planning, forecasting and scheduling, order management and shipping control. The implementation will also include JIT order and shipping support, kanban, support for line side sequencing and bar coding, all integrated with DENSO's ERP system using Future Three's Configurable Interface tool.

"We had a specific set of requirements to standardize our systems across locations when we began the selection process. We were looking for a partner that not only could fulfill these requirements, but also was very familiar with the specific needs for automotive suppliers, like sequencing. Future Three met and exceeded our requirements and demonstrated their commitment to a long-term partnership," stated, "Buzz" Powell, Manager of IT, for DENSO Manufacturing Michigan, Inc.

DENSO anticipates deployment of the Future Three solution in conjunction with the new DENSO proprietary ERP system at a total of 12 plants in North America processing from their Michigan and Tennessee manufacturing locations. The system, which includes advanced order management and fulfillment, will provide enhanced visibility into automotive demand and shipping control. Future Three will provide complex automotive business rules management for DENSO and 28 of its customer trading partners. The system will integrate critical supply chain information into the core enterprise business systems for DENSO.

Benefits to DENSO include reduced cycle time and inventory, and improved fill rates. Overall, DENSO will have better information on customer forecasts, orders, production, shipping and delivery performance. Additionally, consolidation of order processing will afford the company savings in support and maintenance of multiple legacy systems.
