Reichhold Adds Global Marketing Director for Industrial Applications

    RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--Aug. 5, 2002--Reichhold, Inc. today announced that David Cordova has joined the company as global marketing director for industrial applications within the Global Composites business unit.
    Cordova is responsible for developing the strategy and driving growth for the company's industrial applications business.

"Cordova's proven experience in global marketing and strategic business development will undoubtedly help Reichhold drive its position in this market."
    Cordova brings to Reichhold more than 15 years of experience in advanced composites applications and business development. Cordova's wide field experience ranges from the development and marketing of composite armor systems to industrial fiber applications in deep water offshore oil platform anchoring to automotive tire reinforcement applications. Cordova holds over 15 patents in the related fields.
    Prior to joining the company, Cordova was global marketing director for Armor Holdings, Inc., a provider of security products for law enforcement and military users. In that role, he was responsible for developing penetration strategies and leading raw material supplier relationships for the company's international operations. Prior to that, Cordova held international marketing and business development positions at Honeywell International/ AlliedSignal.
    Cordova earned his master's degree in chemical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic and State University and a bachelor's in chemical engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology.
