Mile Marker International, Inc. Announces Record Second Quarter 2002 Results

    POMPANO BEACH, Fla.--July 30, 2002--Mile Marker International, Inc. (OTCBB:MMKR), a specialty vehicle parts distributor, announced record revenues and net income for the six months ending June 30, 2002 in its Form 10-QSB filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission today.
    In its Form 10-QSB filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on July 30, 2002, Mile Marker International, Inc. announced record net income of $1,031,226 for the first six months of 2002, or $0.10 per common share compared to net income of $388,447 for the first six months of 2001, or $0.04 per common share, and $1,009,808 for the year ending December 31, 2001, or $0.09 per common share. The Company's 166% increase in net income resulted from sales revenues of $6,392,915 for the first six months of 2002, an increase of 38% over the $4,624,680 in sales revenues for the same period in 2001. During the second quarter of 2002, the Company reported net income of $456,622, compared to net income of $417,255 for the same quarter in 2001. Including these 2002 results, the Company's trailing twelve month earnings per share total $0.15.
    Richard Aho, President and CEO of Mile Marker International, Inc., said: "These record results reflect the continuing fulfillment of our hydraulic winch orders from the U.S. military as well as substantial increases in our non-military winch sales. We expect to see additional military winch orders coming out of the recently-approved defense budget and from NATO since our unique hydraulic winch has been very well received by the military."
