Photos Available for First Look at Daytona Prototype Bodywork

DENVER, N.C. (July 30, 2002) -- Grand American Road Racing Association has released the first photos to the media of bodywork for a Daytona Prototype, which will be the premier class of the Rolex Sports Car Series in 2003. The first-of-its-kind full size body form, designed by Indianapolis-based FABCAR Engineering, was recently completed at Crawford Composites headquarters in Denver, N.C.

The full size body form gives an accurate representation of what FABCAR's Daytona Prototype bodywork will look like when it competes next season in the Rolex Sports Car Series. The next step in the bodywork fabrication process will be for body panel molds to be cast from the body form.
