THRILL-O-RAMA STUNT SHOW AT IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY... HOLLYWOOD STUNT MEN, RADIO HOSTS TO DEFY DEATH JULY 28 (Los Angeles)-Clear Channel Radio announces Thrill-O-Rama, the most explosive, daring, action-packed live event ever attempted. Under the direction of veteran Hollywood stunt director Wally Crowder, more than fifty stunt men will blow up, jump, ignite, fly, fall and thrill at Irwindale Speedway on Sunday, July 28th. Thrill-O-Rama is the largest live stunt show ever presented in Southern California. Rick will also interview many of the stuntmen who will be risking their lives at Thrill-O-Rama. (More) As part of the action, personalities from Clear Channel's Southern California radio stations will compete in the Fire and Ice Enduro car race, hosted by STAR 98.7's Danny Bonaduce. Driving stock vehicles, the hosts will try to outdrive their radio counter-parts while dodging explosions, water jets, patches of ice and jam cars. Thrill-O-Rama stunts include flaming car jumps, Harley precision riders, jack-knifed big rigs, the flaming slide for life, kite-cycle jumps, the river of fire, and many more. This rig allows him to safely perform the dangerous Jack Knife maneuver for the motion picture stunt industry. RIVER OF FIRE Scot Semonell, professional stuntman and firefighter, will kneeboard down a river of flames. HUMAN BATTERING RAM Professional Stuntwoman, Lori Seaman, will ride on the hood of a car as it smashes through burning walls of wood VICTOR McLAGLEN MOTORCYCLE CORPS The longest running precision motorcycle team in the country. They use vintage Harley-Davidson's to perform these incredibly dangerous stunts. ADRENALIN CREW These guys are two-wheeled magicians. They perform amazing bike tricks while traveling at breakneck speeds. FAKE POLICE PURSUIT Nick Plantico will attempt to evade police as he is chased into the track. He will jump his car into the air, crashing through an exploding trailer that is sitting in the infield. BOBBY ORE HIGH SKI Bobby will drive a car on two wheels as stuntman Josh Haggerty climbs out onto the top of the car. He will then launch Josh from the car into a pile of cardboard boxes. TOMMY TROUBLE'S PIPE RAMP JUMP Stunt Driver Tommy Trouble will launch his car fifty-feet straight into the air, crashing it into a stack of cars to cushion his landing.
