Accident Prevention Plus Identifies Need for Company's Black Box Technology

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--July 25, 2002-- Accident Prevention Plus, Inc. (OTCBB:ACPL). In a recent news article Jacques Chirac, the President of France, announced that he would make the fight against road insecurity the first of his "three large building sites" of his five-year period.
Accident Prevention Plus Inc.'s On Board Recording System can resolve the French government's quest to improve road safety. The System will monitor a driver's behavior, profile and performance. In case of an accident or near miss, the recorder will record a black box function, 50 seconds before the incident and 10 seconds after. The system will also alert the driver with a beep when a pre-set speed threshold is reached. Other functions are available on the system and can be customized to requested desires and individuals needs.
Furthermore, the French Minister of Transport, Gilles de Robien, has been studying several proposals involving state highway patrol, black boxes and ticket informers. One of the proposals includes the installation of black boxes in cars or the ticket informers at tolls on the highway. The possibility to install black boxes in cars, like in trucks and planes, would be the fastest and easiest solution. Coupled with a sound signal that triggers when speed over 130 kilometer per hour is reached, this electronic device would be able to verify, in case of an accident, the real speed of the vehicle, the engine revs, the braking occurrence and whether or not a driver is wearing a seatbelt.
Alan Schwartz, CEO and President of Accident Prevention Plus, Inc. stated, "The APP On Board Recording System does everything the Minister of Transportation is requesting. We do not require any additional changes or upgrades." Mr. Schwartz further noted that he will be in France next week to further our opportunity in this marketplace.
