SEMA SHOW 2002 IS SET FOR TUESDAY-FRIDAY, NOV. 5-8, IN LAS VEGAS

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (July 24, 2002) — The 2002 SEMA Show, organized by SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association, will be held from Tuesday, Nov. 5, to Friday, Nov. 8, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada. SEMA's Annual Education Week luncheon will be Monday, Nov. 4, preceding the show's opening. Dieter Zetsche, president and CEO, Chrysler Group, and Jim Schroer, executive vice- president - global sales and marketing, Chrysler Group, will be the keynote speakers. Their topic will be Today's Chrysler Group: The Industry's Speed Shop. "Nearly every year our SEMA Show conflicts with the Halloween celebration, but not this year," said SEMA President Christopher J. Kersting. "However, our Show will have thousands of automotive treats for the industry professionals from around the world who attend. Besides more than 1,000 project vehicles and several hundred new product introductions, the Show will have exhibits of all the accessories and specialty equipment from more than 1,400 exhibiting companies. And, we'll have a full complement of educational seminars to help businesspeople increase their profitability." The SEMA Show, which will use expanded exhibit space resulting from the Convention Center's expansion, will be sectionalized this year for the showgoers' convenience. We've grouped the exhibits according to products and market niches to make it much easier for the buyers to navigate the show efficiently," Kersting said.
