12th ANNUAL DEALER RIDE RETURNS TO MID-OHIO


DUBLIN, Ohio (July 23, 2002) - Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will host the 12th
annual Dealer Ride during the Honda Super Cycle Weekend presented by Dunlop
Tire July 26-28. The Dealer Ride, a staple of Mid-Ohio's American
Motorcyclist Association Superbike Tour event, has become one of Mid-Ohio's
most popular fan activities, with more than 70 dealerships scheduled to
participate in this year's event.

The 12th annual Mid-Ohio Dealer Ride gives motorcycle dealerships and their
customers the opportunity to experience Mid-Ohio's 15-turn, 2.4 mile track
up close and personal during a parade lap Sunday at lunch. Participants will
also receive VIP parking in the infield during the entire weekend. 

Licensed motorcyclists can visit the nearest Honda motorcycle dealer during
normal business hours to sign up for the Dealer Ride. Dealerships will be
registering customers until Saturday, July 27.

The Dealer Ride compliments a full weekend of racing highlighted by a Wiseco
Superbike 100 Doubleheader. Nicky Hayden, Eric Bostrom, Miguel Duhamel and
the rest of the Chevy Trucks Superbike Series riders will race 26 laps
around the Mid-Ohio circuit on both Saturday and Sunday. 

Also featured during the weekend will be racing from the 250 Grand Prix,
Supersport, Superstock, and Formula Xtreme classes. 

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is located approximately halfway between Columbus
and Cleveland, Ohio off of Interstate 71. Commonly referred to as the "Most
Competitive in the U.S.", Mid-Ohio hosts six events throughout the summer.
