Automotive Fleet Study Shows 8.4% Improvement on Fleet Vehicle Order-to-Delivery Times

    TORRANCE, Calif.--July 22, 2002--Automotive Fleet's annual study on fleet vehicle order-to-delivery (OTD) times shows an 8.4 percent improvement industry wide for the 2002-model year. Truck models improved the most, decreasing their OTD times by 9.6 percent. The Pontiac Grand Am had the fastest delivery time, with an average of 23 days.
    Results were based on data given by five fleet management companies: ARI, CitiCapital Fleet, LeasePlan USA, PHH Arval, and Wheels.
