CAPE MOTORSPORTS ANNOUNCES NEW DRIVER

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. (July 22, 2002) -Cape Motorsports, the current leader
in the Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship today announced that Ross
Fonferko has joined the team for the remainder of the season.

Fonferko, of Wheaton, Ill., joins Cape Motorsports having captured the
prestigious Russell/USAC Triple Crown Pro Series in 2001. Prior to winning
the championship Fonferko was the Rookie of the Year in 2000 and captured
numerous karting championships as a CRG BRM factory driver.

Cape Motorsports believes that the addition of Fonferko strengthens the
current driver line-up and will propel the team to its second championship
in three years.

"Ross obviously has the speed and tenacity to be a front-runner in the Zetec
Championship," said Cape Motorsports Vice-President Nicolas Cape. "This has
been in the works since December and the timing couldn't be more perfect."

The Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship season continues with Rounds Nine
and Ten at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, August 10-11.
