RACE
CLASSIFICATIONS:	Superbike:
Superbikes are racing motorcycles that are
modified versions of four-stroke machines originally sold for street use.
The concept of Superbike racing is very similar to championship stock car
racing - to have machines that are visibly as close to production as
possible while allowing teams the freedom to improve the power and handling
characteristics of the machine.

Superstock: The Superstock bikes are quite
similar to Supersport bikes, but Superstock are a lot larger. They have twin
cylinder, 750cc engines with less than four valves per cylinder,
DOT-approved street tires, twin carburetor jetting, and approved aftermarket
exhaust stystems. The Superstock machines can have engine modifications but
can not have equipment modificatins.

				Supersport: Supersport bikes are
production-based, 600cc machines. These twin-cylinder bikes have less than
four valves per cylinder and can have engine modifications. Unlike
Superbikes, Supersports can not have equipment modifications and use
DOT-approved street tires. Additionally, Supersport bikes have carburetor
jetting and can have approved aftermarket exhaust systems.

				250 Grand Prix:
The 250cc Grand Prix class features
twin-cylinder motorcycles built by European and Japanese companies expressly
for high speed pavement racing. Typical machines have 250cc liquid-cooled,
twin-cylinder, two-stroke engines designed specifically for road racing.

				Formula Xtreme:
This series showcases the street-based big
bore motorcycles like the Honda CBR900, Yamaha R1 and Suzuki GSX-R1100.
