Motocross Championships - Carmichael 16 for 16!

AMA/Chevy Trucks US Motocross Championships, Round 8: Unadilla Valley
Sports Center, New Berlin, NY, Sunday, July 21

Honda Racing's Ricky Carmichael pulled off a thrilla at Unadilla with a 1-1
score to take the overall win in the 250cc division. Carmichael's
phenomenal win-streak continues with 16 consecutive moto wins. Carmichael
has won all 8 rounds this year and now enjoys a 93 point lead in the
championship hunt.


Amsoil / Dr. Martens / Journeys / Honda Racing's Mike LaRocco rode another
amazing race since coming back from an injury finishing 3-3 for third
overall. The Rock is gaining valuable championship points by being
consistent, and keeps climbing up the podium ladder.


Red Rider Sebastien Tortelli rode two solid motos to take a home fourth
place for the day with a 4-5 score. Teammate Nathan "N8-Dawg" Ramsey
finished in ninth place with a 14-6 score.


Red Riders had a great day as eight out of the top ten motorcycles were
Hondas.


In the 125cc division Honda Racing's Ernesto Fonseca raced to a 5-6 moto
score to capture sixth overall for the day.


" I am training my butt off at Carmichael's house", said Fonseca. "My bike
is working great. I just need to find a winning ingredient.
