Felipe Giaffone and the #21 Hollywood/Mo Nunn Racing Chevrolet G-Force
finished seventh in tonight's Firestone Indy 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Giaffone started eighth and gained a position during tonight's 200-lap event
around the 1.33-mile concrete oval for his first finish outside the top six
in his last seven races.  He was seventh at the season-opening event in
Homestead, Fla.  Giaffone remained in fourth place in the current drivers
points standings with 295.  Race runner-up Gil de Ferran moved into the
points lead with 347 while his teammate Helio Castroneves, who finished
ninth tonight, slipped to second at 337 points.  Third-place finishing Sam
Hornish, Jr., the defending series champion, is third in the points at 333.

Alex Barron picked up his first career IRL victory over de Ferran and
Hornish.

The next race on the 15-race IRL schedule for 2002 is next weekend's
Michigan Indy 400 at Michigan Speedway, a first-time IRL event.

restart, I was in the wrong spot, and it's just one of those days."
