Budget Offers Low $19.99 Per Day Car Rentals for Consumers Who Plan Ahead

LISLE, Ill., July 18 Budget Rent a Car Corporation has launched a series of special weekend and weekly rates for consumers who reserve their car rentals early. Consumers who book online at www.budget.com at least three weeks in advance can take advantage of Plan Ahead rates as low as $19.99 per day on rentals between August 18, 2002 and September 30, 2002. Budget is offering compact cars for $19.99 per weekend day and premium cars, minivans and standard SUVs for $249.99 per week nationwide.

"Budget's Plan Ahead rates reward early birds with great cars at super low prices. Customers can always get the best deals at www.budget.com , and find rates that are lower than those accessed through other electronic travel sites or our 800 number."

At www.budget.com , consumers can visit the company's Specials section and sign up to receive notice of discounts and promotions on a regular basis. Consumers can also check out Budget's new Last Minute Deals section, featuring special rates for those who like to travel on impulse.
