BUSY JULY FOR ANDY BRUMBAUGH

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BUSY JULY FOR ANDY BRUMBAUGH

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (July 18, 2002) -The Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship
is taking a much-needed break during the month of July after a hectic May
and June. This, however, does not mean time off for series rookie Andy
Brumbaugh and his racing activities.

Brumbaugh went straight to Toronto, Canada with his AIM Autosport team after
the Mid-Ohio race. The following week Brumbaugh his Zetec Championship car
were on display at the Molson IndyFest in downtown Toronto. Brumbaugh's car
was also on display at the track for the following weekend's Toronto Molson
Indy where he met the public, explained the car and the series and signed
autographs. Brumbaugh had the opportunity to meet with most of the top
Toyota Atlantic teams and was invited to meet with some of the CART teams as
well.

As he was not actively competing in Toronto, he had the opportunity to try
something new. Brumbaugh was asked to provide color commentary for the
Canadian Formula Ford 1600 series competing at the event, the series he
competed in last year.

"It was a lot of fun to talk about racing over the PA system," said
Brumbaugh. "I tried to offer some insights to help the fans really
appreciate what was going on with the Canadian Formula Ford's.

Veteran Canadian motorsport announcer Pat Gonsalves, who worked with
Brumbaugh on the practice, qualifying and Sunday afternoon race was
impressed.

"Andy did a superb job as a member of our Molson Indy announcing team," said
Gonsalves. "His insights into the F1600 series added to the public address
broadcast and provided race fans solid information on the drivers and cars."

The following week Brumbaugh and his AIM Autosport team joined several other
teams for a two-day test at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The AIM team had
a chance to try some things and had a really strong test. Brumbaugh's times
were well below the pole time from June's race at Mid-Ohio, so he is looking
forward to returning in August.

"The lack of pre-season testing really put Andy in a hole for the start of
the season," said AIM Autosport team owner/engineer Ian Willis. "He is now
very comfortable with the car and the
set-ups. I believe you will see the real Andy Brumbaugh the rest of the
season. No doubt he will be one of the front runners. I really wanted Andy
on our AIM Autosport team this year and he is ready to show why."

Brumbaugh will finish the month of July at Road Atlanta at an SCCA race. He
works as a mechanic, engineer and driving coach for Richard Matthews, an
up-and-coming Formula Continental competitor.

Brumbaugh is the defending pro Canadian Formula Ford Champion, the first
American
and the youngest driver ever to win this highly competitive series. He was
the U.S. Club Ford champion in 2000 and the N.A.S.A. Formula Ford champion
in 1999.
