Miller Lite Big 10 Race Will Add Refreshment


Irwindale, Calif. - - King Taco Restaurants, the place where you go when really authentic Mexican food is on your eating agenda in the LA area (there are 21 tasty locations) will present a hot and spicy night of Dodge weekly NASCAR racing on June 20, featuring both of Irwindale's top stock car divisions along with three super support divisions.  Adding to the excitement, the Jani-King Late Model race will also be designated as race 6 (of 10) for the 2002 Miller Lite Big 10 crown (and a nice, round five thousand bucks!).

That stage being set, here's a quick list of the points leaders coming into the Saturday night soirée:  Jani-King Super Late Models: Tony Green , Miller Lite Big 10 Series: Ben Walker, Automobile Club of Southern California Late Models: Todd Burns, American Race Trucks: Michael May. King Taco Legend Cars: Ricky Wildman, and  Mechanix Wear Speed Trucks: Randy Brown. Chocked-full of seasoned veterans and peppered with hot newcomers, each of the above divisions offers a different scenario for the night's racing and the track's new for '02 King Taco On-Track Autograph Session is proving to be THE best place for fans to get the up-to-the-minute "skinny" on who's fast and who needs to find some speed.  

At 6PM, ALL fans, young and old are invited to join ALL of the drivers, their crews, and machines right on the track's main staightaway. It's like a free pit pass without having to sign the release! Photos, autographs, give-aways … And one-on-ones with the heros of the evening and their intrepid crews … Not to be missed. 

The track gates open at 4PM, with a live band playing, face-painting for the kids, and the autograph session on-track at 6PM.  Racing starts at 7PM, but not before a crowd-participation session of "Know Your NASCAR" with prizes and free race tickets.
