2002 Formula One World Championship To Be Broadcast Live On Sirius
NEW YORK - July 17, 2002 - Sirius Satellite Radio, the country's premier satellite radio broadcaster, today announced that it is broadcasting the FIA Formula One World Championship races live on Sirius channel 117 for the remainder of the 2002 season. As part of its agreement with Jones MediaAmerica and The Craig Company, Sirius listeners will be able to hear race coverage from the U.S. Formula One Radio Network, which includes many of the world's most popular race events.

"Now coast-to-coast, anywhere in the U.S., you'll be able to hear live race excitement from the largest and most prestigious auto series in the world."
Sirius will broadcast Formula One Championship races live on "Real Sirius," channel 117, including the United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motorspeedway on September 29 and concluding with the Japanese Grand Prix on October 13.
