Negotiations Resume Between International Truck and Engine Corporation and The Canadian Auto Workers
WARRENVILLE, Ill., July 13 -- International Truck and Engine Corporation and the Canadian Auto Workers announced today that the two parties will resume negotiations at 3:00 p.m. (EDT). No further comments will be made until current negotiations conclude.
The Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) union Local 127 went on strike June 1. The strike affects approximately 645 CAW-represented production and maintenance employees at International's Chatham plant.
