Race
The Cadillac Grand Prix of Washington D.C., in conjunction with the D.C. Sports & Entertainment Commission (DCSEC), today announced the final parking plan for the July 19-21 event on the grounds of Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium.
There will be no general public parking available for spectators at the stadium. Race-goers are urged to use one of three parking options for attending the event: Metro Rail, Metro Rail Downtown, and the free spectator shuttle that will run from US Airways Arena (Capital Centre).
METRO RAIL
Spectators can utilize the Metro Rail and exit the rail at the "Stadium-Armory" stop off of either the ORANGE or the BLUE Lines for RFK Stadium. The BLUE and ORANGE Line trains directly connect to "Stadium-Armory" and do not require changing trains. If spectators take the RED, YELLOW, or GREEN lines, a train transfer is necessary.
From the RED Line, spectators should transfer at Metro Center to the BLUE or ORANGE Line; from the YELLOW or GREEN lines spectators should transfer at L 'Enfant Plaza to the BLUE or ORANGE Line. For more information, fans can visit the official site for Washington METRO RAIL at www.wmata.com.
These stations have easy access from the Interstate and abundant parking:

-- | New Carrolton (Orange Line) |
-- | Franconia-Springfield (Blue Line) |
-- | Shady Grove (Red Line) |
-- | Greenbelt (Green Line) |

Shuttle Service--Located at US Airways Arena (Capital Centre)
The US Airways Arena (Capital Centre) has been named the official park and shuttle venue for the Cadillac Grand Prix. The D.C. Sports and Entertainment Commission is providing a free spectator shuttle service from the US Airways Arena (Capital Centre) to RFK Stadium. The parking charge is $10 per vehicle or $20 per bus.
After parking, spectators should board the shuttle for the short trip (approximately 15 minutes one-way) to RFK. The shuttle will operate on a continuous loop beginning at 7 a.m. and ending one hour after the last event has concluded, Friday through Sunday. Spectators may board the shuttle at any time throughout the event for the return trip to US Airways Arena (Capital Centre).
The Cadillac Grand Prix of Washington, D.C., which is coming to the grounds of RFK Stadium July 19-21, will feature races of four sanctioning bodies: American Le Mans (ALMS), Trans-Am, World Challenge and Star Mazda. It will be the first major auto-racing event in the D.C. metropolitan area. The ALMS race will be televised live on NBC and CBS will air the Trans-Am race.
