Montgomery Involved in Single-Car Accident 

 

SPARTA, KY (July 11, 2002) - ARCA RE/MAX driver Chase Montgomery escaped injury after a spin and collision with the Turn-1 wall during the first practice at Kentucky Speedway.

 

Montgomery was driving the team's new Ford Taurus at the time.  The #27 Monte Carlo has been rolled off the transporter and is ready for this afternoon's qualifying for the Blue Grass Quality Meats 200 at 5:00 p.m.
